About me
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, massage instructor at Cortiva Institute and registered Yoga teacher I am committed to educating my clients as well as my students. The combination of massage and movement is beneficial not only as a tool for correction and pain management, but also as a complement to their healthy lifestyle. Massage offers effective choices in the prevention of disease and injury. Good health is not simply the absence of disease. Good health is youthful movement, flexibility and vitality at every age. I approach therapy with a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness between the musculoskeletal, fascial (connective tissue), and nervous systems and their impact on the visceral systems of the body. Layering treatment with a variety of corrective and relaxation techniques, my goal is to facilitate the body's ability to function efficiently and engage in its natural healing processes. I am committed to assisting others along their journey towards change in their lives.I have experience working with clients with a variety of different goals. These goals range from rehabilitation and pain management, to relaxation and maintaining health, wellness and vitality. I am grateful for the opportunity to support clients with ALS, cerebral palsy, stroke, pre- and post-operative joint replacement surgery, rotator cuff injuries, thoracic outlet syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel, chronic neck and back pain.
